Artist Statement
Ogan Tatlici, born and based in Berlin, works primarily with acrylic on canvas, using a technique that mainly involves a palette knife. His art focuses on capturing personal emotional states and memories. His works often feature abstract representations of landscapes and horizons, reflecting the artist's subjective perception and inner world.
Tatlici's pieces are not intended to direct the viewer towards a specific interpretation or meaning. Instead, he offers space for free interpretation, leaving it up to the viewer to develop their own feelings and thoughts when engaging with the works. The exploration of his own emotional landscape is central, and his paintings serve as a channel for self-expression, free from external expectations.
